The other side of me

Beside photographing automotive, I do photograph other thing. And thats juts the other side of me as a photographer beside obsessing with automotive. There will be more coming up from what I see though my lens. Here are some photo's that I captured recently in a Muay Thai challenge last night. More coming soon.

As a versatile photographer, I'll always try my best to captured somethings that can tell a story beside just randomly or just simply capture a subject to turn in to a photo. 

I always try my best to put my self with the scene instead being behind the scene. Every time I photograph such event, I will always try to put my self as close as possible with the action. Even if it will effect me. Example like what happen last night while Im trying to photograph a two furious fighter on the ring. I almost end up being bump by one of the fighter who being push to the rope. And it was inches away from me. The rope did hit my face and I almost fell on the ground. But the pain on my face worth with the photo's I captured. 

For me, I always being passionate with the subject I photograph with. The thing thats nature with me is that, If theres nobody scream or tell me to get away from there. I will just keep on going. This is one of the example photo that I captured. I was behind of the ring rope while this happen. Right after the fighter  being kick, he drop just right in front of me and my camera was way inches from him when he fall. If I don't have the guts to get up there and stand there, I would miss this action and I would regret it. Same goes when I photographing a wedding, automotive, sports or anything. Its just the nature of me. More coming up with the fighting scene.

Open Drift Championship 2011 - Part 1

It was a very good weather that day, not so hot and thank god its not raining after days of rain. Its like the skies give way to this spectacular event. It is an Open Drift Championship Malaysia 2011.

Supposedly, I should been given a media passes to get a full coverage and more up-close to the action. But unfortunately, they decided to make way for bigger media's. So my line up being cancel. But! That wont stop me from making a review on it.

It seems that everyone is satisfied and happy to see there's more machine and insane drivers participate in this championship and I notice some few new faces.

Not every supra's participate in drift championship before this. Glad to see one of em in it

While their setting up the heat, others are setting up to cool down the heat when the sun goes down. I smell party at night. Will up more on the 2nd part. Stay tune.

Malaysia Open Drift Championship 2011

Open Drift Championship 2011 Round 2 ~ An insane battle not to be missed!!!

 We will exclusively bring the cover on this most exciting Open Drift Championship 2011 round 2 at Bukit Jalil, Malaysia. This event brought to you by the growing respected automotive groups of organizer that called them self Federation D, an agency for insane drive. Yup, as it stated on their tag line, there will be insane action and insane competitors throughout Malaysia or even Asia. Volkswagen Das Auto Show 2011 ~ Vw showing off day Part 2

as we waited for almost an hour for our turn to enter the hall. My friend take turn to try the game

nothing fun about it for me about playing it and you cant even change your car or play it in manual mode. All you need to do is just sit in the bucket, hold the steering and kick the pedal for two laps

we being greeted with the VW logo and tag before we enter the hall 

and another VW logo but this time with a signage saying...bag check

well....

as we search for a nice spot to sit and try to enjoy what ever they will bring us to, I notice theres a cars on the platform all around us

and look! theres a person inside the cars

after everyone is securely (yes they securely check is everyone seated), the media presentation about to start

at this moment I felt like we're about to get a few ride on going somewhere...feels like I'm in a spaceship or something like that

all of sudden the lights turn off and the cars starting up their engines and turning on the lights

a huge VW logo appear in front of us... feels like I'm being brought back to the hippies era's (I don't know about the hippies but it just poops out in my head)

and whatdaya know, the car starts to move all around us, so does the screen. Its like trying to simulate us that the car and us the audience are traveling together through out around the world

here's a bit of how it looks like in panorama mode, and yes the car actually move around us. At some few moment, they stopped after one passing by to introduce the models

after less than a 15 minute ride from the presentation, we're moving on to the other hall where the cars are being shown up close

but its not that easy to get out from here, we're been quarantine for few minute before we're allowed to exit. They said its for the temperature protection before you're out to the hot and warm world after being in an eskimo look like tent and a freezing aircondition

as we were out from this place, it was sharp at noon and look at the lines... even longer than the time we arrived... line up to be Das by VW

and I've being told it is log as almost 500 meter long all the way from the parking lot. Thank god we're arrive here earlier. The show was not too disappointing and I can say Im enjoying it  a little with the presentation, but I am so disappointed when it is not as how it was being told before this. There's no car shows, theres no classic VW lining up, theres nothing... Just a bunch of a huge eskimo tent, a new car to be show off and a well played presentation. That was my first time 360 video presentation. Feels like I was taken to another world for 15minute. But its not end here, as we're about to walk to the parking lot. We saw a VW galore lining up out side the entrance. Coming up next ~
